- I'm a visual artist and an arts educator. I like making sculpture, installation, performance, eco-art, photography, video, film, music, literature; growing a lot of what I eat, pan-asian cuisine, travel, dancing, Yoga, connecting people, collaboration, making things happen, ecstatic dancing, walking in the woods.

- Favorite Music:
- I love making music, dancing to music, listening to music made by friends, live music, radio, found sounds, John Cagey stuff. I love Tom Waits, City Mouse (such great guys!), Doc Watson, Calliope music only with an edge, Carnival, Burlesque music, Cabaret, strange combinations of things like Dread Zepplin--the Band that played led Zepplin tunes sung by an Elvis Impersonater to a Reggae beat. You know, like that.
I'm not much for opera except maybe if it is accompanied by a Bugs Bunny cartoon, and I'm not big on Country music, but I like crossover folks like Lyle Lovett, Emmy Lou Harris, Allison Krause, K. D. Lang. I do like Dolly, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., and Patsy, but your run of the mill Country stuff doesn't work for me. I love rock, alt rock, some rap, some hip hop, classical, bluegress, newgrass, jazz fusion, blues, world beat, music from other countries, Tuvan throat singers, Indonesian Rama Yana monkey chants, South African Rhythms, Tribal music, street music, junkyard bands, jug bands, honkytonk, vaudeville music sung by cross dressing midgets with banjos, music from the body, weird stuff.

- I don't generally watch TV, I get my news from the net, and I am a movie junkie, so I've got netflix, but when I visit family, I do enjoy watching The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Family Guy, Adult Swim, the Simpsons, etc.

My Chico bag has arrived!
Happy happy! Joy joy! My Chico bag has arrived and I just love it! I have had a series of small portable bags before and they eventually would get lost. What I like about this one is that it as small carabeener, which allows me to attach the bag to the ouside of my waste pack's zipper. Also, I like the fact that the little bag it folds into is attached to it, so it can't get lost. Green Dreamings
Howdy out there,
My plan is to use this site to discuss ideas for green art projects, guerilla gardening ideas, green architectural ideas, and any other creative green thoughts. As an educator, I am constantly looking for ideas I can share with my students. Expecially ones that involve green art installations, or any ideas involving environmental art whether they are indoor or outdoor projects. My latest facination is with green wall projects.
