I love baking, usually because it's always a fiasco and there's a hilarious story to tell my friends after I've made some attempt. But I hate it, because stoves and ovens use so much energy. I've switched to making tea and hot cocoa with a microwave, but that's about it. I just end up buying treats at local bakeries, or Starbucks, because, let's face it, they post their nutrition facts and, calorie for calorie, that reduced fat cinnamon swirl coffee cake is amazing.
